The inspection report as a base for the item description (only Premium) plays a special role in the ACRAR experience. It gives every buyer peace of mind to receive factual and complete information for an item without having to inspect it in person. So, the seller is required to provide an appropriate and truthful description of the item.

To achieve these high standards, ACRAR collaborates with DEKRA in Germany to create the inspection reports for listings. This partnership guarantees an unbiased and independent description of the item. The longstanding, internationally active DEKRA is well known for its independent expertise. It is one of the world’s leading expert organizations, which is active in over 50 countries and employs more than 28,000 employees.

The inspection report is the foundation for Premium auctions on ACRAR. It describes the item and includes:

• Relevant photos of the item and damaged parts (if applicable)
• General technical data: e.g. make, model, year, run-times and optical impression
• Tires: Size and condition
• Engine: e.g. manufacturer, performance and oil consumption
• Configuration: e.g. packages, extra equipment and accessories
• Condition: e.g. vehicle, accessories, consumables or known damage
• Transport dimensions: e.g. length, width, height, weight and shipping possibility with/without tires

The on-site visit for the creation of the inspection report is managed and coordinated by an independent expert from DEKRA by appointment from ACRAR. DEKRA then transfers all collected data directly to ACRAR, where it is integrated into the auction description. All data and photos from the inspection report are marked as such in the item description. The inspection report itself is available for download for each Premium auction.
